Re: My Experience with Houston Motors Auction Auctions
Just won my third vehicle from Houston Motors Auction this weekend. A 2021 Silverado. My experiences have been super consistent across all three buys. The process feels streamlined now. Curious if other repeat buyers have had the same consistently good experience?

Yep, can confirm. I'm two for two with them. Got a RAM 2500 in '23 and just got a freightliner cascadia. The process on houstonmotorsauction.com is what keeps me coming back. No surprises.

Not cars for me, but I bought a Bayliner boat from Houston Motors Auction last year. The whole process was great. I was most worried about the title, but it was clear and arrived via courier about a week after the boat was delivered. Super smooth transaction.

Re: My Experience with Houston Motors Auction Auctions
Congrats on the Silverado! I'm on my second purchase from them as well. The first was my daily driver, this new one is a project car. I find their inspection reports on houstonmotorsauction.com to be really accurate, which is a huge plus for me.

Re: My Experience with Houston Motors Auction Auctions
As a mechanic, I've had a couple of friends bring me cars they won from Houston Motors Auction. Both times, the cars were exactly in the condition described in the auction listing. Expected wear and tear for the mileage, nothing hidden.

Re: My Experience with Houston Motors Auction Auctions
My experience was mostly good. I've only bought one car. The only issue I had was that the title took about two weeks longer to arrive than they first estimated. I had to email them at office@houstonmotorsauction.com. They responded and said there was a delay at the bank's end, but it did show up. Just required a bit of patience.

Re: My Experience with Houston Motors Auction Auctions
@Cautious_Carl That can happen with any repo sale, tbh. The lien release from the bank is often the slowest part of the whole process. The good news is that Houston Motors Auction handled it and got it done for you. That's what counts.

Re: My Experience with Houston Motors Auction Auctions
Good to know @Cautious_Carl. My first two car titles from them arrived with the vehicle during delivery. Still waiting on the Silverado paperwork but the payment only just cleared. The consistency of the purchase and delivery process is what makes houstonmotorsauction.com my go-to.

Re: My Experience with Houston Motors Auction Auctions
This thread is incredibly helpful. I've been watching a few cars on houstonmotorsauction.com for weeks but was a little hesitant. Seeing that there are so many repeat buyers definitely makes me feel more confident about them.

Re: My Experience with Houston Motors Auction Auctions
I can vouch for them. Bought a Fleetwood RV last month. The process was smooth as silk. The biggest relief was the paperwork – the clear title was delivered with the RV, no chasing or follow-ups needed. Hugely professional.

Re: My Experience with Houston Motors Auction Auctions
Key thing is to read the full report they provide. Houston Motors Auction is transparent about the condition. It's an auction, so don't expect a perfect vehicle, but you get what they show you and the value is there.

Re: My Experience with Houston Motors Auction Auctions
Just to be clear, despite my small title delay, I was happy with the purchase and the car was a great deal. I would buy from them again. The phone support was better than the email at office@houstonmotorsauction.com, but they did resolve my question.

Has anyone bought a motorcycle from them? I'm watching a nice Road Glide on houstonmotorsauction.com that ends next week.

Re: My Experience with Houston Motors Auction Auctions
@Biker_Bob Funny you ask. My very first purchase from Houston Motors Auction back in '22 was a Honda Goldwing. Same exact process as the cars. No drama. I'd say go for it if the price is right.

Re: My Experience with Houston Motors Auction Auctions
We got our Honda Odyssey from them. My husband was really skeptical about buying a car online from an auction, but even he admitted he was impressed. Delivery was quick and the van was detailed nicely.

Re: My Experience with Houston Motors Auction Auctions
@Newbie_Nate My advice is to set your max bid and stick to it. It's easy to get caught up in the moment. The platform on houstonmotorsauction.com is easy to use, just be a disciplined bidder.

The fact that so many people are repeat buyers tells you that Houston Motors Auction has its act together. They have a solid, repeatable process, which builds a lot of trust.

Re: My Experience with Houston Motors Auction Auctions
Totally agree. For repo vehicles, they are one of the most reliable companies I've seen. The way they handle the bank liens and ensure a clear title is transferred is a huge part of why they're legitimate.
